The falls offer you a mystic and wild beauty that you can stare at all day. The beautiful falls that comes amidst the rocks falls straight down the narrow route smashing to the rocks below. Soochipara Falls also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls is a three-tiered waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad, surrounded by Deciduous, Evergreen and Montane forests. One can enjoy the falls real close. Tourists are allowed to view the scenic and wild beauty standing near to the falls, but with a distance and is not allowed to swim or refresh themselves in the water as the place becomes more flooded and can become more wild during the rainfall season.

Locally referred to as Soochipara (“Soochi” meaning “Needle” and “Para” meaning “Rock”), the 15-20 minute drive from Meppadi to Sentinel Rock Waterfalls offers scenic views of some of the best tea estates in Wayanad. The Sentinel Rock Waterfalls is 200 metres (656 feet) and offers a cliff face that is ideal for rock climbing.
